A metallised shielding bag which is designed to store electrostatic sensitive semi-conductor components and assemblies. The bag is high quality and features the "buried shield" film, which encases the vacuum deposited aluminium shield between layers of 12 micron polyester and 60 micron micro polyethylene film. The shield is thus protected against abrasion and cannot flake off. This prolongs the bag"s life in reuseable situations. The buried shield also eliminates the risk of sparking or arcing inherent with "metal out bags".
