The is a standalone non isolated buck-boost µModule regulator with adjustable output in 88 pin BGA package. This complete buck-boost switch mode power supply includes switching controller, power switches, inductor and support components. A resistor to set switching frequency, resistor divider to set output voltage, input and output capacitors are needed to complete design. The input and output average current regulation can be implemented with just a few components. The SYNC input and CLKOUT output allow easy synchronization. The LTM8054 is equipped with thermal shutdown that inhibits power switching at high junction temperatures.
