# XMOS XA-SK-SCR480 Display sliceCARD for use with sliceKit, 480x272 Display, Resistance Touch Screen

The is a display slice card for use with slicekit. The display slice card brings a 480 x 272 RGB display to slicekit. The xCORE multicore microcontroller drives the display directly without the use of an external LCD controller, via a parallel RGB interface. Using the xSOFTip LCD controller we can add a display to any system. The SDRAM slice could also be a useful addition to your system, providing additional data memory for frame buffering. This slice provides power supply electronics and a 40 pin ZIF connector for the included LCD, plus a low cost resistive touch screen controller that interfaces to the LCD and to the XCore via a two wire interface. An Analogue Devices touch screen controller ADC is provided on the slice card and interfaced to the xCORE via an I2C bus and an interrupt line. This can be used to provide resistive touch coordinate information to software applications written for this slice.
