The 3156 Series is a single-pole, single-throw switch activated by a snap-action bimetal disc. It has WE-1 gold alloy cross point contacts for use in potential low voltage applications The case is laser welded to form a hermetically-sealed steel housing, with glass-to-metal seal at the terminal junction. Its low silhouette and compact design allows use in most applications that require miniaturization.
