The is an adjustable output dual synchronous step down regulator in 16 pin MSOP package. This monolithic switching regulator uses constant frequency peak current mode architecture. It has ultralow quiescent current and high efficiency over a wide output voltage range. A user selectable mode input is provided to allow user to trade off ripple noise for light load efficiency. The burst mode operation provides highest efficiency at light loads while pulse skipping mode provides lowest ripple noise. The current mode operation yields excellent line and load transient response. The LTC3622 can be synchronized to an external clock.
