The SMAJ13CA from is a SMAJ series bidirectional surface mount transient voltage suppressor in DO-214AC package. The SMAJ series is designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It features reliable low cost construction utilizing moulded plastic technique. This TVS device is ideal for the protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus and other vulnerable circuits. It is typically used for surface mount applications to optimize board space. This transient voltage suppressor also features glass passivated junction and built-in strain relief.
