The is a standard edition development kit. It is an easy to use platform for evaluating and designing with the power manager II ispPAC POWR1220AT8 device and MachXO 2280 programmable logic device. The Hercules development kit comes preprogrammed with several demonstration designs that highlight the features and programmability of the POWR1220AT8 and MachXO devices. These demo designs can be easily modified to implement our own designs. Using the preloaded board digital management design provided with the development kit, we can test within minutes power management functions such as power supply hot swap control, redundant supply selection and payload power management. We can then build our own designs using the free downloadable reference design source code, implementing these features in less than an hour. Provisions are included to emulate power supply monitoring, temperature monitoring, supply fault logging, and reset generation.

The evaluation board can be damaged without proper anti static handling.

The evaluation board must be stored between -40°C and 100°C. The recommended operating temperature is between 0°C and 55°C.
