The EA-PSI 800 R series state-of-the-art microprocessor controlled Laboratory Power Supply has a multitude of functions and features making the use of this equipment easier and more effective. Units with more than 1kW output power and are equipped with a flexible power output stage, for providing a higher output voltage by reduced output current or higher output current by reduced output voltage, always limited by the maximum output power. So, a wide application-spectrum can be covered with one unit. The equipment uses an active power factor correction to enable using it worldwide on a mains input from 90V up to 264VAC. The output voltage, current, power and overvoltage protection OVP can be set menu-guided and are shown on the integrated display. The existing sense input can be connected directly to the load for compensating lost voltage on the leads.
