The is a 9-pole SD Card Connector, 5738 series, gold-plated copper contact. The SD card connector meets the electrical and mechanical requirements of the new SDA specification. Designed to accept expanded I/O cards such as Bluetooth, GPS and digital cameras, these connectors are backwards compatible and accommodate the standard SD and MMC solid-state flash cards. The integral metal shell provides EMI/RFI shielding as well as providing mechanical robustness. These connectors incorporate mechanical write protect, card detect and card retention contacts.
