The is an Evaluation Kit features the AD7177-2, a 32-bit 10kSPS analogue-to-digital converter ADC. The board provides integrated rail-to rail-analogue input buffers, on-board power supply regulation and an external amplifier section for amplifier evaluation. A 7 to 9V AC-to-DC adapter is regulated to 5 and 3.3V, which supply the AD7177-2 and support components. The board connects to the USB port of a PC via the EVAL-SDP-CB1Z SDP controller board. The AD7177-2 evaluation software fully configures the AD7177-2 device functionality via user accessible register interface and provides dc time domain analysis in the form of waveform graphs, histograms and associated noise analysis for ADC performance evaluation.
