摘要

随着计算机技术的不断发展，企业和组织都有为数不多的服务器设置 信息服务已成为各种应用服务的核心设备，其重要性日益突出。服务器能 能否实现可靠有效的管理也变得十分重要，现有的服务器管理模式时效性差， 占用服务器资源或无法进行远程管理、组管理等缺点。因此，设计有效可靠 当前迫切需要服务器管理模式。

基于主板控制器的设计 IPMI(Intelligent Platform Management Interface，智能平 通过新闻界面和台管理界面)实现标准化 I2C 总线实现了服务器主板上的硬件 通信，设置传感器的门阀值；与服务器主机操作系统、系统管道通过系统接口 软件通信，通过网络接口和 KVM(Keyboard Video Mouse)主板控制器通过网络实现服务器的远程管理 图像信息传输到远端 PC 并显示远端 PC 键盘鼠标信号输入重定向 服务器以实现对服务器的远程管理。嵌入式主板控制器运行 Web 服务器，方便 用户通过 Web 管理浏览器， KVM 也可以使用用户端软件 Java Applet 的形式嵌在 Web 用户可以在页面上下载。主板控制器集成在服务器主板上 ARM9 微处理 芯片并移植嵌入式 Linux 该系统独立于服务器 CPU 除了操作系统，改进 服务器管理的可靠性和稳定性。

Abstract

With the increasing development of computer technology, whether business or organizations have much number of multiple server equipment for the information technology services, the server is the key equipment in communication network. The reliable and effective of server management is becoming more and more important. The existing server management way has low efficiency, taking up server resources, not for remote management, group management. Therefore the design of a new kind of effective and reliable server management mode is the current urgent need.

The Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) is designed based on the IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) specification. Through the message interface and I2C bus to communicate with the hardware on the server motherboard; through the system interface communication with the server host operating system and system management software, monitoring the operational status of the server; through the network interface and the KVM (Keyboard Video Mouse) technology to realize the remote management of server.
