Abstract:Optical fiber sensor is a kind of emerging sensor in recent years, which has the advantages of high sensitivity and large dynamic range compared to the traditional sensor.In recent years, there is more and more attention and research on optical fiber sensor, and multiplexing technology is one of the key technologies of optical fiber sensor.For the time division multiplexing optical fiber sensor array system, multiplex number is the key factor affecting the performance. As the system clock frequency is proportional to the product of sampling frequency and multiplex number, and it's hard to improve the system clock frequency, reducing the sampling frequency has become the most effective way to improve the multiplex number.This article conclude that the theoretic minimum sampling frequency is 5 times of the carrier frequency based on the analysis of the principle of PGC demodulation technique.Then through MATLAB simulation environment the article verify this conclusion and finally get the lowest sampling frequency is 6.5 times of the carrier frequency.
