英特尔开始交付新款Atom芯片 可降低能耗20%

据国外网络媒体进行报道,英特尔公司当地发展时间周三我们开始工作交付使用面向学生上网本的最新产品型号凌动处理器,与上一代凌动芯片技术相比,能耗成本降低20%。此举被外界社会认为是英特尔在平板电脑时代大潮中保持自己上网本增长的一项非常重要战略举措。英特尔在一份声明中表示,新款凌动处理器系统集成有两个基本内核,是代号为Cedar Trail的平台的一部分,可以通过延长上网本电池汽车续航能力时间,提高经济总体设计性能。包括中国惠普、宏碁、联想、东芝、华硕和三星在内的PC厂商将从明年1月份起发售采用Cedar Trail平台的上网本,起价为199美元。

  英特尔称,与两年前推出的型号相比,新款凌动处理器图形性能增长一倍,能耗降低20%。配置新款凌动处理器的上网本电池续航时间可长达10小时。

英特尔计划在明年1月份的国际消费电子展上讨论面向智能手机、平板电脑和PC的最新型号处理器。

Cedar  Trail平台是英特尔改进上网本努力的一个重要步骤。英特尔发言人称,尽管Cedar  Trail平台可以用于平板电脑,但该公司大多数客户将把即将发布的Medfield或Clover  Trail用在平板电脑中。

尽管上网本面临平板电脑的威胁,但英特尔仍然看好上网本。英特尔称,虽然上网本在美国和西欧的销量在下滑,但在中国、印度等发展中国家市场上,上网本销量还在增长。

新款凌动处理器使上网本能播放高清视频,支持HDMI(高清晰度多媒体接口)使上网本可以与高清电视机相连,无线显示技术可以通过无线技术将PC画面传输到电视机上。

英特尔的新款凌动处理器包括时钟频率为1.6GHz、能耗为3.5瓦的凌动N2600,以及时钟频率为1.86GHz、能耗为6.5瓦的凌动N2800。英特尔9月份推出了台式机版Cedar  Trail平台。
