The from Texas Instruments is a high-performance, quad-channel reinforced digital isolator with an integrated high-efficiency power converter in 16 pin SOIC package. It helps to prevent noise currents on a data bus or other circuits from entering local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuitry. Device eliminates need for a separate isolated power supply in space constrained isolated designs. Device provides high electromagnetic immunity and low emissions while isolating CMOS or LVCMOS digital I/Os. Typically used at industrial automation, motor control, grid infrastructure, medical equipment, test and measurement.
