The is a low power, dual, 12bit voltage-output DAC with configurable outputs in 16 pin QSOP package. DAC consumes only 500µA from a single +5V supply, feature Rail to Rail output swing. Device is well suited for digitally programmable 4mA-20mA current loops. The 3-wire serial interface is SPI/QSPI and Microwire compatible. Each DAC has a double buffered input organized as an input register followed by a DAC register which allows input and DAC registers to be updated independently or simultaneously. Access to inverting input allows for specific gain configurations, remote sensing and high output current capability making device ideally suited for industrial process controls, automatic test equipment, digital offset and gain adjustment.
