LINEAR TECHNOLOGY DC1295B Demonstration Board for EN55022B Compliant 28Vin, 6A Step-Down µModule Regulator

The demonstration board features LTM4606EV DC to DC µModule regulator. The LTM4606EV is a complete EN55022 class B certified noise high voltage 6A switching mode DC to DC power supply. Included in the IC package are the switching controller, power FETs, inductor and all support components. The onboard input filter and noise cancellation circuits achieve low noise operation, thus effectively reducing the electromagnetic interference EMI. The input voltage range is from 4.5V to 28V with a jumper programmable output voltage from 0.6V to 5V. The rated load current is 6A, while derating is necessary for certain VIN, VOUT and thermal conditions. The LTM4606EV allows the user to program output ramp up and ramp down through the TRACK/SS pin. The output can be set to coincidentally or ratiometrically track to another voltage rail. Output voltage margining can also be realized through jumper position selections.
