System Overview

C8051F300/1/2/3/4/5 devices are fully integrated mixed-signal system-on-a-chip MCUs. Highlighted features are listed below. Refer to Table 1.1 on page 14for specific product feature selection.

• In-system, full-speed, non-intrusive debug interface on-chip

• True 8-bit 500 ksps 11-channel ADC with programmable gain pre-amplifier and analog multiplexer

•Up to 8 kB of on-chip Flash memory

• 256 bytes of on-chip RAM

•SMBus/I2C and Enhanced UART serial interfaces implemented in hardware

• Three general-purpose 16-bit timers

• Programmable counter/timer array PCA with three capture/compare modules and watchdog timer

\- Up to 8 kB ‘F300/1/2/3, 4 kB ‘F304, or 2 kB ‘F305 Flash; 512 bytes are reserved in the 8 kB devices

\- Hardware enhanced UART and SMBus™ serial ports

\- Three general-purpose 16-bit counter/timers

\- Internal oscillator: 24.5 MHz with ±2% accuracy supports UART operation

\- External oscillator: Crystal, RC, C, or clock 1 or 2 pin modes
