The Trusted Wireless™ serial data radios from Contact use state of the art technology to deliver reliable, “trusted” performance. All radios in the data series are inter-operable, as long as the protocol is the same throughout the network. Electrical standards such as RS232/422/485 can be used within the same network with no converter/gateway necessary. Using the RAD-ISM-900-DATA-BD-BUS with I/O expansion modules, this transceiver can be programmed, using RAD-Link software, to emulate DF1 or Modbus RTU protocols, therefore eliminating the need for a remote Slave PLC.
