The from Products is a 14bit, low power, buffered output, rail to rail digital to analogue converter with I2C Interface in 8 pin µMAX package. This single channel DAC uses precision external reference applied through high resistance input for rail to rail operation. Power consumption is extremely low to accommodate most low power and low voltage applications. The MAX5215 has an I2C compatible 2-wire serial interface that operates at clock rates up to 400KHz. DAC output is buffered resulting in low supply current of 80µA. An asynchronous active-low input, AUX active-low is provided. This input can be programmed to support clear or load DAC operations independent of serial interface. The MAX5215 is designed for remote sensing, communication systems, automatic tuning, gain and offset adjustment, power amplifier control, automatic test equipment, data acquisition, programmable voltage and current sources, process control and servo loops.
