The is a microprocessor µP supervisory circuit with ±1.5% reset accuracy in 8 pin NSOIC package. This supervisory circuit monitors and controls the activities of 5V microprocessors by providing backup battery switchover, low line indication and µP reset. The MAX808 is intended for battery powered applications that require high reset threshold precision by allowing wide power supply operating range while preventing system from operating below its specified voltage range. The MAX808 is used in computers, controllers, intelligent instruments, critical µP power monitoring, battery powered equipment and embedded systems.
