The is a Blackfin multimedia starter Kit based on ADSP-BF533 processor. The ADSP-BF533 provides a high performance, power efficient processor choice for today"s most demanding convergent signal processing applications. The high performance 16bit/32bit Blackfin embedded processor core, the flexible cache architecture, the enhanced DMA subsystem and the dynamic power management DPM functionality allow system designers a flexible platform to address a wide range of applications. Using a Blackfin EZ-KIT Lite and EZ-Extenders daughter cards to perform multimedia related tasks, we can learn how to render/capture video and audio streams using various off the shelf multimedia devices. As well, the SDK contains source code, documents and various en/decoders that makes getting started easy and shortens the learning curve.
